People write about what they are familiar with. Hockey and Rugby have much narrower niches in the U.S. and unless its your thing you don't follow them on obscure channels in the 600 range of your tuner.

Nothing is stopping you from creating topics on your favorites. Maybe you could expand someone's world view.
