I have the advanced forum statistics mod on my forums, and one of the features I have turned on is the "hottest threads". I have the time cutoff set at 10 days.

What I am not understanding is threads that have hundreds of posts and over 1000 views, recent threads, suddenly disappear from this listing in favor of threads that have just over 100 views and 30 posts.

Is there some sort of specific formula that vbulletin uses between thread views and posts to determine how hot a thread is?
