With quite a few templates edits to the GTPM_USERCP_SHELL template, yes. The normal CP for 3.8 has quite a few popup menus (pm folders,subscription folders, deleted items, moderated items and new items). I choose to leave this out for the GTPM_USERCP_SHELL. But their are some new and modified links, and the entire new items block is new as well.

In my case it works.

But it'll take you a while making the templates match up.

I compared the old and new normal USERCP_SHELL templates and applied the differences to GTPM_USERCP_SHELL. With exception of the popups.
