It doesn't matter how long the post is, it won't go through.

It's not anything with the product itself because I disabled it and it still wouldn't work. I rolled back the template changes and then it started working again.

Is there anything you can think of that would cause this problem? I'm sure it's my fault somewhere, but it's happened twice in two tries now.

If reverting the template edits fixed the problem, then it's possible you deleted a single end bracket or something like that accidentally during the initial install.
