This same flickering bug happens on three sites all running vb3.7.3x. All three sites stopped blinking when I changed the setting back to continuous. The flickering is so annoying to users they stop visiting the site!
I'm experiencing this aswell. Problem with setting to continuous is that the banners in the top of the list are shown much more than the others so I can't really use this.

I've had to install an otherwsie superb mod until this bug is fixed.
