I also had a wooden skateboard, and I had skates with metal wheels and leather straps (you strapped them on your shoes). They would spark as you road down the sidewalk, and when you hit an uneven crack you got thrown five feet..

I collect GI Joes and Action man from the 60's and 70's. Last Christmas my girlfriend in England (She's in the British Army) sent me a British SAS action man (He's the eagle eye version - his eyes move).. It's one of the best in my collection. I bought a set of 2 German Action man with a bike and a sidecar off a guy in Scotland this last year too...
