Have a look at this hack.....Prevent certain time Zone registration.

This would be great, however I do have users from other parts of the world...I have the built in "Spam Management" running now along with "nospam" I will let you all know how it works..
If you come up with anything else, let me know please..

Spam Management actually caught someone today

This is an obvious BOT, my users do not need to see Viagra advertisements nor do they care... It is tedious to go through every user and post, but It is part of maintaining a functioning board..

For the "Registered User" Almost every function of the board is disabled, although this helps lessen the amount of possible spam a standard registered user can do it does penalize those who are not on your boards for spam reasons..

I also have in the greeting e-mail and PM a list of board rules about spamming and solicitations, however many of these bots and spammers either don't read it or don't care..

It is sad really how things have turned in to a virtual "junk mail" system with them..
