If something likes this comes out which bundles the best from both based on the default Albums it will be great.

You, or we are supposed to use vbulletin albms as actually albums, not hosting, so this hack could really come in handy for those who want to have an extra host all pics type of stuff, I like the idea and my albums will have probably a max of 60 pictures per user for example and the rest could go for hosting.
