Hello all,
I am very familiar with how to utilize the search function, but the amount of resources/threads in here is a bit overwhelming for someone completely new to vBulletin. I have used the forums for various websites as a member, but I am building my own website and have recently purchased a license of my own.

I know nothing, and I need to start from scratch here. I've run through the Admin panel, and some of the changes in there are very basic, but I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to customizing the appearance. I believe you guys refer to them as styles? (Yeah, it's THAT bad. Lol.) I saw a whole section of these here to download, but I have no idea how to integrate them.

I know very little about HTML and placing code, etc. I'm relatively ignorant in this regard, and it bothers me to say that; but I am familiar with Dreamweaver and the Adobe products. I will pick things up quickly; I just need some guidance to be pointed in the right direction for resources for newbies. Is there a one-stop shop where all the sticky threads have been posted for newbs explaining the basics?

That being said, I am looking forward to joining the crew here and learning a TON from you guys. I love vBulletin's forums, and I'm looking forward to running one of my own. Any guidance would certainly be appreciated.

One final comment, I saw that there are places to request paid help or voluntary help. I would love to find someone that has the time to work with me and help me customize the forums. I would pay them, obviously. The forum did not seem to be very active though (perhaps flooded with requests?), and I'm sure my post will get lost in the mix anyway. If anyone would like to take on a small side project, please let me know. I just need some guidance, as I want to learn it myself as I go here.
