How about this as a mod? The option of creating an anonymous forum where registered users could go to create threads and post.... anonymously.

They could choose a temporary username for the anonymous session only, or for that forum only. (There would have to be anonymous nick change rules of some kind.)

The forum would have to be heavily moderated of course, and I think this kind of mod wouldn't be for everyone, however I think it is a way to have people say what they really mean without necessarily exposing who they are.

Thoughts?
