Perhaps the OP's native language isn't English - just means we can all be more careful in our phrasing. "You're doing it wrong" is most like offensive in any language. There are just better ways to say things; that was my original point.

And then... again : ) I give the benefit of the doubt to the other person that he is not a mean character - maybe he just wanted to make a joke out of it or sound funny.. No idea. You also can't tell the age of either and that is another factor.

I say Bravo but when it became obvious that the OP WAS embarrassed perhaps a simple "sorry, I didn't mean it in that way" could have neutralized the situation instead of "Whats wrong if someone manage something easier then u did? "

Indeed - BUT - : ) I am not sure you noticed.. FRDS replied only once. The 'Whats wrong..' answer came from another forum member.. : )

Again, it's just a matter of delivery and courtesy - treating others as we would like to be treated.

Who knows - maybe he likes to be told he's wrong directly - I have no issue with that. Sometimes I find too much comforting is not always the best approach. Yes, it makes things more positive but the results can take longer to be achieved.. and in the end it's a nice poof..

I've read and came across quite a few situations where different cultures or background collide and - all I can say is - tact is gold.

killaduce - will you at least evaluate/consider doing the change or taking the approach FRDS suggested? I don't know - maybe as an alternate solution? I think it's a better way and would save other people's time to have one template edit instead of two.
