Currently I have an application hack that posts the application in a forum by itself. My recruitment officer then reads the application, if they are approved he goes into the admincp and changes the usergroup. He then sends out an email manually to the user.

I'm looking for a mod that will allow him to simply click a button in the postbit and it will modify their usergroup and send out a welcome email. Or vice versa if he is removing them, It will modify them to a regular user and send out an email stating they were removed.

Cutomizable fields I would like would be:

Usergroups allowed to use the mod
Usergroup to promote to
Usergroup to demote to
Welcome email
Goodbye Email

Any help would be great!
