Don't put the file extension nor the sel/nosel/new suffix.
The images must be uploaded in the images/misc/mgc_cb_evo/channels folder.

And can not seem to get the image to show.

You have to put 3 type of your images : the active/inactive/new ones, check for current images for names suffix. They shall be in gif format.

Then just add the name of the image without the extension and suffixes.

Note I have removed all files and especially the ones in the includes/xml directory. Then removed product and still receive this error!

This error is from the previous version of the chatbox (non evo one). I think when updating to the evo version you haven't removed all chatbox files of the previous one.

Remove the files and it should do the trick

I tested it and it's working perfectly. The usergroup you have problems are specific ones ? I mean not vBulletin default ones.
