3.7.0 was a "Gold" release. 3.7.1 and any oither version after that isn't, until 3.8.0.

Did you follow the procedures for upgrading as in the manual? I've upgraded many boards to 3.7.3 without any issues at all - so you can't blame vBulletin. If the shoutbox is broken - contact the author.

You can upgrade to 3.7.3 from any version is the 3.x series - the upgrader will just run through the upgrade files for every version.
