I do not see the request that staff act like professionals while running the board and leave their personal feelings out of posts while doing so as talking negatively.

I find it to be a means to an end that should have come a long time ago. You know, professionals talking to professionals? That's not too much to ask.

The personal editorial comments are unnecessary and lead to animosity. It's a catalyst to exactly what they want to avoid, confrontation.

You can't argue with rules. You can, and most will, argue with personal editorial comments. Especially the condescending comments.

Moreover, it escalates tempers, causing even more animosity, when someone replies to the commentary and then the moderator button is used as a means to have the last word when the conversation should have never begun to begin with.
