Those aren't pictures of myself/property, I just wanted to post a picture of a still and someone drinking out of a mason jar so I did a quick google image search.
I do own some land (well my family owns some land) in North Carolina. I live on a farm that is currently 200 acres and we're always expanding on that. Our plan is to keep buying the land that ajoins ours until we own the whole world.
I don't have my own still anymore although I did fiddle with making shine in the past. I currently get mine from a friend two states over, he brings me a few jars anytime he comes in to town and I return the favor by sending him some goods three times a year.
Making shine is illegal...period. You aren't allowed to make it or sell it without a liquor license. However it's a tradition in my neck of the woods so we could really care less about what the law says. As far as we care all laws made after the civil war don't apply to us unless we choose to follow them.
Heres a picture of my backyard though if you're interested...well as much of the backyard as I could get into the frame. That's my dad's girlfriends house in the background there.
