I have a small problem that I hope someone in this place can help me out with...

I use postbit_legacy for my forum and at the same time I have a fixed width site. The problem starts when people private message each other... if their signature image is too long, the postbit stretches because there's no more room left on the site and because of the way my site is coded, it disappears into nothing.

Is there a way of fixing this problem by, say having the private messages use the postbit template instead of the postbit_legacy template....?
