Can it be done?

For example:

I have website A , and Website B

I want all members on website A to be able to log into Website B using their account information from A

Basically, merging them - but not merging them.

Only allowing them to access the other Forum/VB through their account previously created, and any accounts created on A/B will be able to log into each other, and vise versa

Possible?
