I don't see what the problem is in coming up with a domain. As the shazzster and nexy stated the content will reflect what you serve to the general public.
I once owned tutorialzone.net which was an IPB graphic resource . Where there any tutorials on the site? heck no, though members and guests knew it was a graphic resource purely by it's content which was served up to them.
People aren't stupid, don't assume that they are so have a little faith in them. I'm sure they will soon figure out what niche your site will fall under, pending that you do your job right by providng the right content which of course needs to interest your memberbase.
3 similiar responses which by now should sink into your head. If your still having trouble with a domain your obviously not ready to start a site because it only gets harder from the point you purchase that domain.
Took me 30 seconds to come up with a domain yesterday it need not be such a drama.
