People having problems with the security token should have a look if they have version 5.08 installed.
If yes, try to reinstall. Reupload all the php files and take care your ftp client uploads them in ascii mode. Then reinstall the product xml file and remember to set overwrite to "yes".

The 5.08 version IS updated with the 3.7.x security fix.
So if you get the security toke notice, something went wrong while installing or updating.
