Did you try contacting the website and asking them the name of the modification? They might have just written it themselves. I'm not familiar with the conditions you can use to see if a user is in a social group, so I can't make a comment regarding the code you would use.

Again, I would suggest you take a look at the existing modifications and see what sort of coding they are using.
