You need to make sure that you got the whole database, sometimes if you're using phpmyadmin it won't dump the whole file because of php limits, memory, postmax, and such. It's best to just get the host to dump it for you if they can using mysqldump. You could also just grab a php script that does a "exec/system('mysqldump". Thats if you have access to the old provider.
