You say that, yet they have to do a security update like every two weeks.

You know how many vbulletin sites I've seen hacked? It happens quite often. Even if you don't put mods on your site. The default vbulletin alone can be hacked quite easily by experienced hackers. Just because you've had a site for 3 years without being hacked doesn't mean that vBulletin unhackable.
