I would work on designing a new logo. Dark text/images on dark backgrounds don't go. Dark anything on dark backgrounds is a big no so I would suggest in re-colouring the logo giving off more of a prominent feel so members can see better.
I noticed that theres redundant white square background surrounding your forum staus icons. I would suggest a technique I use (pending you have a graphics editor) is take a screen shot of the area and load it into (photoshop if you have it) and set a fixed size (size of the forum icons) with the marquee tool and take cut the gradient background from the screenshot and place it on the bottom layer of the forum icon source file and voila you have a flawless looking background with crispier/sharper looking icons. Obviously, this only applies to background with gradients with more than one colour.
I would also set about replacing the default vbulletin images for custom icons (check your what's going area) and possibly change the subforum icons.
The thread display contains a lot of vbulletin stock images (threadmarkers, lastpost etc icons) replace them with custom imagary that will not only look consistent with the theme but give off a visually appealing presence.
Overall, I find the style too dark, way to dark and I can only suggest that you can make this more visually appealing with minimal effort by making some changes to the background colours in the style css.
Regardless of my grievances goodluck with your site.
