Not intending to be an ass, and I know this isn't a forum you moderate Kevin -- but this question illustrates my observation that the current information design for the hack request & release forum is just not working. It's bad usability.

Practically everyone who joins this forum ends up asking many of the same questions over and over -- I'm a great example -- simply because there is not a clear system established for FAQs.

Unless Mods simply enjoy pointing to the same answers over and over again, it would seem to me that everyone benefits from (1) good information and usability design in this Hacks group of forums, and (2) a periodically updated "sticky thread" FAQ which contains links to the most frequently asked for hacks/features.

If the vB Mods would agree to fix the bad usability (mixing requests and releases in multiple places), I would donate some of my time to help construct the FAQ, with links to the released hacks.

As great as the feedback is here, accessing the most frequently requested features and hacks is terribly inefficient. Seems to me everyone would benefit from some improvements here
