vb.org Archive - View Single Post - HYBRID default view mode for Guests / Unregistered ???

I see in searching there are several threads asking how to make HYBRID (not "just" threaded) mode the DEFAULT view for GUESTS (not logged in). Most seem to have gone unanswered

The one I found that did have an answer suggested editing $threadedmode= from 0 to 2 in sessions.php... the trouble is, that post is from 2004 and I am running a later 3.x which does not seem to have any sessions.php! So what the heck do I do?
