Great mod! Installed and nominated!

Is it possible to tweak the public socialforums so that they stay visible to all, but that only members of the individual socialgroups see the "unread posts" sign when there's any new posts there? (that is, that the socialforums you are not a member of stay marked "read"?)

That way non-members don't have to press the "mark read" button for all the forums they are not a member of, or actually read all the posts, like those of us with a touch of OCD might feel compelled to! (yes, ignoring forums marked "unread" is actually quite hard!)
