What makes you think it doesn't work correctly ?

Because the usergroup that attempts to use the /ban show command says they don't have the access to do this. While the /ban xxxxx userid works fine for them. I gave myself the usergroup that have been selected within the ban plugin:

Skyrider, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

But when I try to do this command (with the same user):

/ban on uname Skyrider

I'm getting:

The user was successfully banned

Trust me, there is something wrong here.
