Perhaps the way I use MGC is basic. Or perhaps the differences are in the code not the user level?
If I have to completely install again I need to know the reason.
Please do not think I am being rude or that I do not appreciate your hard work. It's a WONDERFUL piece of coding. The installation was excellently guided.
I just don't understand.

Separately ----
It is necessary for this mod to work well to see who is online before I know I can talk to them.
On forumhome this is not a problem. I copied the who's online code which is normally at the bottom, to the top. See screenshot.
This means user can see who is logged in.
User can then say hello and start chatting.
This is a HUGE part of why MGC works well. Without seeing who is logged in to the forums it is not possible to say hello except --- hello world - is anyone there? --- not satisfactory!
So the who's online (for forums) is very important to make MGC perfect.

But putting who's online (for the forums) on other pages is a big headache. I don't understand the construction of the other forum pages. There are bits on different templates that work together as a team - too complicated for me.
However MGC understands this clever stuff because in admincp you give me excellent simple options to put MGC on the other pages.
Can you tell me how to do this for the who's online code (for forums) --- it doesn't work to just copy the who's online code from forumhome. Must be php in header? or something that works OK in navbar but not in other places.
There is a whoisonline feature in the chatbox. You just have to activate it.

This is OK with MGC for logged in users because I set MGC as visible to registered members.
But when user first arrives before logging in it looks awful!
Because MGC is not there to fill the space next to the side collumn, the side column spreads all across the page - even though I set it to 110pixels.

This is not a tragedy as both my vbulletins are for members only. But it does not look elegant when user arrives.
What can I do to either
1) place an empty table there instead of MGC if MGC is not visible? - so MGC fils the space but does not display as a chat?
Maybe a notice: --- Forum Chatbox (you will see this service appear when you log in as a member) ---
OR
2) make the guest forums fill the MGC space if MGC does not display?
I am sorry but I don't see the problem with the chatbox. Am I wrong ?

There was I think an error in the uninstall code. Edit the product install code and check that there are no $vbulletin->$db in the code but $vbulletin->db instead.

The time displays beside each line of chat is showing wrong. When it displays 09.00 it is really 9pm /21.00. When it shows pm it's really am.
In my screenshot just above the times showing 2.53 and 4.18 were not in the night but in the afternoon.
Not huge problem but maybe can fix?
There was a problem with time but only in the first version of the mgc chatbox evo. Now there shouldn't be such problem, are you sure there is no server problem ?
