I think you should wait with that:/ i was thinking the same aswell but rsjelle will release a new version end of this month. So lets cross fingers that he include some most wanted features like rss and download manager support

It's just a new method, so old files will work with it. Normally it will support pausing/resuming downloads in a download manager.
