yes, if something doesn't run the only thing that you must do will be 'revert some templates' ...

example:
master style: navbar modded with some new links (that you have done with manual changes in your templates)
child style: navbar without any new link (so you need to redo all the changes manually)

in this case simply go in your style manager --> child style ---> navbar template ---> REVERT, now return onto your index and 'magically' the links are showed ...
