bump from the dead, still looking for a solution

don't worry, it's just a horror movie news/reviews site nothing gross

you can see that i'm using vbulletin all around the site, allowing users to post comments under the news, post user reviews, etc. that all works fine, but... when they're not on an actual vbulletin page they don't show up as an active user.

somone can sign in, post comments in the news for weeks and it'll show their last activity as the day they logged in.

i'm including global.php on all pages where i need to extend vbulletin functionality, but that doesn't seem to do the trick.

basically i just want them to show up online, right now i don't care what it says on the who's online page, i just want them to show up there period.

any help is GREATLY appreciated!
