"Changed post to include your table prefix, as it appears you have one."

What is a table prefix? How do I find this information? Where do I add it once I find it?

Here's what I understand so far:

1. Go to the "Execute SQL Query "

2. under the manual query, enter this:

UPDATE post
SET showsignature = 1
WHERE userid = 27

*** do you want me to change the word "post"... what should it look like? I'm sorry, but I'm not understanding the instructions. Thanks for your patience.
