I'm not so keen on the shade of orange you used. Normally, orange and black will complement each other nicely but I'm not feeling that with this style due to the amount of orange used throughout the board. There's no rule that says everything needs to be orange orientated and this goes for the borders that you settled for and the orange forum status icons.

I suggest changing the colour of the links in the navbar, maybe reverse them around but with a lighter shade of black?

I'd also suggest that you re-colour some of the images throughout the forum for another colour (referring to the forum icons). Maybe a black set Found Here will go well?

Overall, I'm not so keen on the style and think there is lot's of room for improvement.

Before I forget. The logo looks stretched and only spans 2/3 of the screen (maybe this iwas intentional) but I would advise that you re-design it and span it 100% so it looks more visually pleasing.
