One thing that bothers me is the placement of the logo and the advertisement on the top. I feel as preference that the logo of the site should stand out but from a first glance perspective the advertisement jumps out of me and its kinda confusing. Like the advertisement looks like a banner for your website so it makes it look like I'm on a different site, if that makes sense.
