My way to do this is the following:
just open the edit-window of the template you want to modify - select all of the code, copy and paste it into a texteditor-window (for example notepad in windows or textedit in macosx), search there for the mentioned place and look at the slider for the position. Then switch to the vbulletin-template-editor-window and scroll down with the slider to a similar position and then the chance to find the code is big.
