I dont really have an answer ready for you. You will need to compair the 3.6.9 & 2.6.10 versions and "translate" the changes to 3.0.

I would however suggest that you reconsider your choice. You will only run into this kind of issues more and more (since 3.0 is not maintained anymore). I would suggest to make the effort once to upgrade to 3.7, so that future updates will go easier (hardly any code edits needed anymore).
