I am developing an online event registration system mainly for use with LAN Party Events.

I have a bug right now which if you do not check the vBulletin 'Remember Me' box, the registration system doesn't see you as a logged in user, simply because the Cookie holding the UserID is empty.

I'm trying to find a way, if it's possible, to pull the UserID from vBulletin Sessions with as little 'communication' with vBulletin as possible.

The system currently is setup depending on what bridge you have active, is what forum system and user tables it goes to authenticate against.
