It's very addictive, but that's not a bad thing in an of itself. That just means it's a lot of fun. I also watch too much TV, and eat too many gummy bears.

That is exactly what I try to explain to people when they can't understand why people "can't just log off". Of course, you CAN just log off, but most people feel a sense of commitment to following through with something that have agreed to be a part of (raid,instance,etc) so that makes it difficult to 'just log off' at a moment's notice.

Lucky for my husband, I play also and understand. So, he'll let me know he's running an instance and I know that it's my turn to do kid duty if something comes up. I also don't mind him sitting there playing for a few hours at a time, because I know that he isn't necessarily 'addicted', he's just following through with something that he's agreed to help with, and sometimes those simple things can turn into HOURS just to finish up.

I'm pretty much addicted to the battlegrounds right now. It's such a wonderful change being in Alterac Valley and actually winning! When I was in my 40's and doing Warsong and Arathi, wins were VERY rare for alliance.
