vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Upgrading a pretty heavy modded forum from 3.6.10 to 3.7.0 GOLD

I updated from 3.6.10 to 3.7.0 by doing exactly as is recommended here. I exported my database then created a new one and imported all my data. I created a clone of my old forum using a "test" directory and changed the database info in the cloned forum to match the new one I created.

I then updated to 3.7.0 and found that a few of my mods (vbadvanced and dream's chatbox) needed updates for the new version. I updated these mods (you may have more that need updating) and all is well.

As for those 227 templates... holy cow! I'll let someone with more experience answer that.
