1/ Check the command syntax I think you are using the wrong syntax.
2/ This has been reported, stangger5 has provided a fix while I was on holiday (see first post), I'll provide an updated version as soon as possible
3/ Do you have other issues with greek characters on other vBulletin features ? Like quick reply (the one using ajax !) ?

Problem with the greek language i had only by importing the language package, if you translate the phrases you can fix it(though you must speak french)
Wriiting greek in the chatbox was never an issue for me and i have a greek lang based forum
