This is automatically set by whoever creates the ticket. For example if you were registered as Virtualshiner and created a ticket, it would be your username that appeared. If it was me PaulSonny would appear.

I am using vb version 3.7.0 Gold
This is a fresh install done about an hour ago.
Suggestions:
1 - Replies made to the ticket should also post on the thread posted within the forum specified.
2 - A thread prefix should be created with the thread automatically. Should say Open/Closed or Open/Solved.
3 - An area for sensitive data should be submitted. When posted by the user this data should only be seen by the admin. This is very important. Some sites have online stores where issues with payment could arise...requiring credit card info. Many other examples too.

The Beta 5 issue has been identified and has been sorted for the next release.
With regards to the navigation, i'm not sure. I will check this out and get back to you.
Posting in multiple forums is going to be a paid feature. The Lite version only allows you to create tickets in one forum. Sorry for any inconvience.
Replies to a ticket should automatically insert into the thread. There is already a thread prefix which is the department title. I will look into allowing multiple thread prefixes in the admincp for the paid version. Sensitive Data issue has been mentioned previously and is going to be a paid feature.

Mind you I really think it is worth paying someone for the enormous amount of time they put into the coding efforts on these projects but only if they are finialized and the rest is simple upgrades. That has not been the case with anything I have seen yet. It has been a bugApalooza farm that is never ending that is creature feature requsted one after another that causes it thus sending the mod into an over work load of horror.
I like this mod a lot is the reason for all the concerns.
With that said how much do you project the full version to be and with what features that aren't already in it and with what guarantees. I have two paid mods that the support sites don't exist now.

I completely understand what you mean, as I myself have been in the same situation with regards to purchasing mods and then the original site disappear.
At this stage, I think myself and Jase have shown that we are dedicated to this project, if you disagree then please let us know what more we can do and we'll try our best. We have been fixing bugs quickly and promptly and supporting this modification. Almost all the bugs that have been brought to our attention have been fixed.
At this stage we can not project the cost nor the features of the pro version.
Thanks, Paul.
