I've got enough on, so I can't offer to help run yet another forum. However, after reading your post I have to ask what your motives are for starting a forum.

See, you're asking for ideas for a forum - what do you want to do and what sort of things do you enjoy? If it's something you enjoy, then it's a hobby. If it's something you're doing and don't enjoy, then it's generally work.

Running a forum for the sake of running a forum - I would need a better reason than that to do the work. I may have missed some of your intent in the post, so if I have then I apologise. However, I'd like to save you some potential grief.
