I think there is a hack that does this, if you search through the 3.6 mods database you should find it.

I had a similar thing, but i wanted more than just the header to change, so i went ahead and copied my style several times, changed the directories through the style manager and changed what images i needed to in each folder. Then its just a simple matter of changing the style default on the specific forums you want to display any given theme on.
