- Go into the includes folder and rename config.php.net to config.php, then open it in a text editor such as Wordpad or Notepad+ and enter in the exact MySQL or MSSQL details you had on your current version (if you don't know it offhand, go into your includes folder on the server and download the config.php and get it there)
Unless you are upgrading from a version lower then 3.5, there is no real need to create a new config.php. Do not rename the new config.php.new, but reuse the existing one.
