This is the idea:

Certain forums offering members a form they must complete before post can be published. Contents of completed form become post where structure of post remains fixed.

Why?

I'd like to offer members opportunities to upload documents thereby making them publicly available. The form must contain meta-data such as:

Name of author
Attachment version
Link [URL] to support forum
etc.

In fact, not much different from how mods are displayed at this site.

Questions:
Are template(s) used here to present mod info available for download?
If not: anyone having suggestions on how to achieve the here fore mentioned?
