error when creating new award (not really sure what do to do with identicator field)

Also sorry for n00b questions:
1) I see a lot of this type thing in the post bit bars:

Level Up: 2% 0 Points Needed

0 points needed? huh?

2) Not clear on (couldn't figure out) ... what you have to add to for gfx for a newly created level. just add a gif gfx with the file name in the format: "award_INDENTIFICATOR.gif" where IDENTIFIER is the INDIFIER used in as the variable?
EDIT: sorry.. i see. I'm using PNG. so the award gfx file has to be png.
