Yes but that's just not working, because members get confused;

Topic starts for example on Monday, and it has a discussion going on. On Tuesday, a mod moves it to the news forum , the members have to search it there to continue discussion.

Then , a couple of days or more later, it's no longer "news" so the mod sends it back to its original forum. Again members will have to search for it to continue discussion.

So if we could just mark the thread as news, that would be great. Actually you can do it now by manually editing the threads list from the News module controlpanel, but we have to find a way to do it inside the forum, so that a moderator can do it without the help of the ADmin.
