Sorry for the late response. I didn't see the notification when you posted. Google analytics lets you keep some very good statistics on your web site. It is a free service offered by Google. I don't believe there will be a problem with Google's changes. I will be updating this once vBulletin 3.7 goes gold and will update the instructions with Google's new for of code too.
