OK, I've narrowed it down to this......... I can enter text, but any other entry gets the error message. A smilie, a link, a photo gets the error message.

I sent this same message to the Host tech support.

OK, logging on as a user I use to test things sometimes...............

As a "Member" or as a "registered user" there is no smilie box, or a toolbar (insert photo, link etc ). Perhaps that's why when I use them as a Admin (I can view them) I get an error message.

This in no way appears to be a DNS migration issue.

As vBulletin is giving a generic error, I am having difficulties diagnosing it
even though I can duplicate the problems.

Currently, there is no log info on the errors. Server error can mean anything
from permissions to configuration. There is even a chance that this could be a
compatibility issue between vBulletin and the software running on the shared
server versus what was running on the previous one.

The additional items missing on user logins may also be due to this.

vBulletin is third party software, and as such is only covered by our best
effort policy.

You are using vBulletin 3.6.8 Patch Level 2. Do you happen to know this
version's requirements?
